Me gustan las guitarras y me gusta la música Rock, por eso hice esta caricatura que era el personaje a dibujar la semana pasada, y por problemas con mi PC que se ralentizó por falta de espacio y porque ya es una computadora obsoleta, que se hizo complicado realizar esta caricatura dentro del plazo determinado, pero de todas formas quise terminarlo.

 I like guitars and I like Rock music, that's why I made this caricature that was the character to draw last week, and because of problems with my PC that slowed down due to lack of space and because it's already an obsolete computer, which was made difficult to make this caricature within the given deadline, but I wanted to finish it anyway.

Caricatura Vladimir AD – ideas 1.0

El resultado final de la caricatura “Vladimir AD” no fue la idea original, la idea original la descarte porque la hice de memoria y vi que había copiado la pose de una caricatura que me gusta (porque es genial y no sé quién es el autor), y también la idea me pareció burlona y tal vez podía ofender. Para presentar aquí esta primera idea decidí terminarla un poco, haciendo el delineado, color, un sombreado básico y un par de imágenes de internet.

 Con el video del proceso de la caricatura pasó algo similar, iba a ser solo transiciones y música, pero eso me pareció muy simple y busque agregarle algún efecto para hacerlo más interesante y encontré un “bad dog” con fondo verde que quedo muy chistoso, pero también podría interpretarse como ofensivo porque parecía que criticaba mi dibujo y peor aún que se burlaba del personaje, pero es divertido ver este video.

 En ambos casos decidí hacer opciones más formales del proyecto para publicarlas, pero aquí pongo estas versiones más “jocosas” con el permiso del homenajeado.

 The final result of the caricature "Vladimir AD" was not the original idea, I discarded the original idea because I did it from memory and I saw that I had copied the pose of a caricature that I like (because it's great and I don't know who the author is), and also the idea seemed mocking and perhaps could offend. To present this first idea here I decided to finish it a bit, doing the outline, color, a basic shading and a couple of images from the internet.

 Something similar happened with the video of the caricature process, it was going to be just transitions and music, but that seemed very simple to me and I wanted to add some effect to make it more interesting and I found a "bad dog" with a green background that was very funny, but it could also be interpreted as offensive because it seemed that he was criticizing my drawing and even worse that he was making fun of the character, but it's fun to watch this video.

 In both cases I decided to make more formal options of the project to publish them, but here I put these more "funny" versions with the permission of the honoree.

 Este es un video donde muestro un poco del proceso que seguí para hacer la caricatura “Vladimir AD”,  como dice el dicho: “no es soplar y hacer botellas”, hay que tener habilidad, conocimiento, dedicarle tiempo y esfuerzo,  aunque esto para algunos es infravalorado, para mí fue divertido y satisfactorio que le haya gustado a la persona para quien fue hecho y que haya apreciado el dibujo como yo lo aprecie.

Continuando con caricaturas de famosos, aquí un famoso pero de mí barrio o mejor dicho del barrio oscuro del Rock Metal de mi país, es uno de los pocos amigos "no virtuales" que tengo, aunque no sé si después de esta caricatura seguiremos siendo amigos, pero es un regalo por los "Like" que le da a todos mis dibujos.

Un Tips: Hace mucho tiempo aprendí esto de un manual de un software de 3D, de que las imágenes en 3D son perfectas y es por eso se ven falsas y que para hacerlas más atractivas y reales había que ensuciarlas para que luzcan como realmente el ojo humano percibe el mundo real, ese software tenía muchas herramientas para "ensuciar una imagen", como: polvo, grano de película, tipos de lentes, desenfoques, florecimiento del lente y render. Y ese es mi secreto, como sé que no es un gran dibujo, yo trato de que al darle color al dibujo luzca con esas imperfecciones como el grano de color (los puntitos pequeños) y desenfoques, para que luzca un poco más atractivos para la vista. 

One Tips: A long time ago I learned this from a 3D software manual, that 3D images are perfect and that's why they look fake and that to make them more attractive and real you had to dirty them so that they look like the real eye human perceives the real world, that software had many tools to "dirty an image", such as: dust, film grain, lens types, blurs, lens bloom and render. And that's my secret, since I know it's not a great drawing, I try to make the drawing look with those imperfections such as grain of color (small dots) and blurs, so that it looks a little more attractive to the public view.

Seguimos practicando, hay muchas frases como: “La práctica hace al maestro”, “se aprende a hacer, haciendo” o “aprendes a hacer las cosas de oficio”, esto quiere decir trabajando en ese oficio y es cierto, la mejor forma de crear nuevos “caminos neuronales” o sea lograr mejor coordinación entre tu mente y tus músculos  es practicando ese movimiento, hasta que lo hagas si pensar, como el andar en bicicleta. Lo digo porque hace un tiempo me era difícil dibujar con la “Tableta gráfica” que es del tipo pad y me costaba mucho dibujar mirando el monitor y la mano con el lápiz en la Tableta sobre la meza, al principio era frustrante porque no tenía buena coordinación y lo dejaba por un tiempo, pero poco a poco he ido desarrollando más habilidad, asique como dice otra frase: “Loro viejo si puede aprender a dar la pata”.

Viñetas que hice como sugerencia para un boletín Cristiano, que ilustra una charla teológica referida a cómo actúan algunos demonios para destruir a las personas y a sus familias, como dicen destruyendo la familia se destruye el 70% de la persona.

Este es un tema largo pero muy interesante que lo voy a resumir en otro momento, para  personas Cristianas o para los que les gusta leer o hacer guiones de telenovela la biblia tiene muchas y muy buenas historias, un ejemplo: Proverbios  7: 6 al 27.

Caricatura Fer color

Una caricatura que hice un año atrás de mi amigo Fernando y que decidí darle color para finalizar este dibujo. Aunque cada vez que termino un dibujo pienso que podía haberlo hecho mejor y eso me motiva a querer aprender más para superar ese nivel. Esto me recuerda a dos frases que escuche: ”La inconformidad es mi concubina” y  la otra es cuando le preguntaron a un artista cual fue su mejor creación el dijo: “la próxima que voy hacer”, definitivamente la próxima será mejor.

A caricature I did one year ago of my friend Fernando, I decided to give color to finish this drawing, Although every time I finish a drawing think I could have done better and that motivates me to want to learn more to overcome that level. This reminds me two phrases that I hear:  "The unconformity is my concubine" and the other is when an artist was asked which was his best creation? he said: “the next I'll do", definitely the next will be better.

Andino Quechuakezenegger

Esta es una ilustración que hice por el día del indio en mi país, hay 36 etnias indígenas, pero las más conocidas son la quechua y la aymara. 
El nombre de este personaje (Andino Quechuakezenegger) fue inspirado por la película de animación Mexicana  ”NIKTE”, es una película muy divertida y la voz del “chaman” la hace Alex Lora, vocalista de la legendaria banda  de rock en español “El tri” de México. Obviamente inspirado también en el actor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

This is an illustration I did for the day of the Indian in my country, there are 36 indigenous ethnic groups, but The most popular are the Quechua and Aymara.
The name of this character (Andino Quechuakezenegger) was inspired by the Mexican animated film "NIKTE" is a very funny movie and the voice of "shaman" makes Alex Lora, lead singer of the legendary Spanish rock band "El tri "of Mexico. And obviously also inspired by the actor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Un consejo básico para principiantes:

Muchos de nosotros comenzamos a dibujar a modo de práctica haciendo “copias” de bonitos dibujos de otros artistas, pero cuando hacemos nuestras propias creaciones se ven rígidas y poco atractivas como este dibujo que hice inicialmente para esta ilustración y recordé cuando yo me preguntaba ¿Por qué mi dibujo no me sale bien?  y como lo puedo mejorar, bueno para corregir este dibujo algunos de los ingredientes que le hacen falta son: línea de acción, exageración de la pose y lenguaje del cuerpo. Aunque yo no voy a desarrollar estos conceptos o principios básicos, pero si les daré los link de unos videos gratis on line, que están muy bien producidos, con explicaciones claras, fáciles de entender, entretenidas y hasta divertidas. El idioma esta en ingles, pero youtube tiene en su barra de menús, en la parte inferior derecha en el icono “cc” una opción para traducir subtítulos a muchos otros idiomas.

Realmente muy agradecido con todos los artistas que enseñan cosas muy útiles para aprender a dibujar publicando sus trabajos, sus prácticas, tips, making of y videos, muchas gracias.

A basic tip for beginners:

Many of us by way of practice begin to draw making "copies" of pretty drawings by other artists, but when we do our own creations are rigid and not very attractive like to this drawing I did initially for this illustration and I remembered when I wondered: Why my drawing I do wrong? and how I can improve my drawing, well to correct this drawing some of the ingredients that needed are: line of action, exaggerating the pose and body language. Although I'm not going to develop these concepts or basic principles, but I'm going to give you the link of some free videos on line, they are very well produced, with clear explanations, easy to understand, entertaining and fun. The language is in English, but youtube has on the menu bar in the bottom right icon "cc" an option to translate subtitles into many other languages.

Algo que he visto en la ilustración digital, es hacer que parezca arte tradicional, ensuciándolo un poco, agregando texturas o hecho con pinceles, definitivamente es más atractivo un dibujo que no luzca muy limpio o con un fondo muy simétrico,   por ese motivo decidí ensuciar el fondo y aplicar algunos efectos, para tratar de mejorarlo.  °-°

 Something I've seen in digital illustration, is make it look like traditional art, give a bit of dirt, adding textures or done with brushes, is definitely more attractive a drawing that does not look very clean or with a very symmetric background, that is why I decided to give a bit of dirt to the background and apply some effects to try to improve it.

Dia 26 - Algo que no te gusta

 

Algo que no me gusta, son los "chaqueos"…
En esta temporada aparecen los “chaqueos”, que  son incendios forestales provocados por algunos agricultores como una forma de limpiar sus terrenos para la siguiente siembra. El humo intenso causa una contaminación que daña el ecosistema y la salud, en especial de los niños. Aunque existen entidades que regulan esta práctica, todavía continúan haciéndolo de forma indiscriminada.

Something I dislike, are the "chaqueos" (clearings)...
This season are the "chaqueos", which are forest fires caused by some farmers as a way to clean their land for the next planting. The intense smoke causes a pollution that damages the ecosystem and health, especially for children. While there are entities that regulate this practice, still continue to do so indiscriminately.

Día 23 - Algo que necesitas

Gracias a Dios, lo que más necesito es a mi familia y ellos están cerca de mí, inclusive mi hermano es mi vecino, después recordé que Jessika y Stephanie, coincidieron en necesitar abrazos y yo pensé que mejor si son abrazos con amor, y empezó a sonar en mi mente la canción de los Beatles “All you need is love”, bien creo que todo lo que yo necesito es amor…
