Andino Quechuakezenegger

Esta es una ilustración que hice por el día del indio en mi país, hay 36 etnias indígenas, pero las más conocidas son la quechua y la aymara. 
El nombre de este personaje (Andino Quechuakezenegger) fue inspirado por la película de animación Mexicana  ”NIKTE”, es una película muy divertida y la voz del “chaman” la hace Alex Lora, vocalista de la legendaria banda  de rock en español “El tri” de México. Obviamente inspirado también en el actor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

This is an illustration I did for the day of the Indian in my country, there are 36 indigenous ethnic groups, but The most popular are the Quechua and Aymara.
The name of this character (Andino Quechuakezenegger) was inspired by the Mexican animated film "NIKTE" is a very funny movie and the voice of "shaman" makes Alex Lora, lead singer of the legendary Spanish rock band "El tri "of Mexico. And obviously also inspired by the actor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Un consejo básico para principiantes:

Muchos de nosotros comenzamos a dibujar a modo de práctica haciendo “copias” de bonitos dibujos de otros artistas, pero cuando hacemos nuestras propias creaciones se ven rígidas y poco atractivas como este dibujo que hice inicialmente para esta ilustración y recordé cuando yo me preguntaba ¿Por qué mi dibujo no me sale bien?  y como lo puedo mejorar, bueno para corregir este dibujo algunos de los ingredientes que le hacen falta son: línea de acción, exageración de la pose y lenguaje del cuerpo. Aunque yo no voy a desarrollar estos conceptos o principios básicos, pero si les daré los link de unos videos gratis on line, que están muy bien producidos, con explicaciones claras, fáciles de entender, entretenidas y hasta divertidas. El idioma esta en ingles, pero youtube tiene en su barra de menús, en la parte inferior derecha en el icono “cc” una opción para traducir subtítulos a muchos otros idiomas.

A basic tip for beginners:

Many of us by way of practice begin to draw making "copies" of pretty drawings by other artists, but when we do our own creations are rigid and not very attractive like to this drawing I did initially for this illustration and I remembered when I wondered: Why my drawing I do wrong? and how I can improve my drawing, well to correct this drawing some of the ingredients that needed are: line of action, exaggerating the pose and body language. Although I'm not going to develop these concepts or basic principles, but I'm going to give you the link of some free videos on line, they are very well produced, with clear explanations, easy to understand, entertaining and fun. The language is in English, but youtube has on the menu bar in the bottom right icon "cc" an option to translate subtitles into many other languages.

Bailarina de Caporal

“Los caporales”, es una danza típica de Bolivia, lo bailan todo el año especialmente  en carnaval, que es la fiesta grande en muchos países, en donde se puede ver un derroche de color y de creatividad impresionantes, uno de los más famosos es el carnaval de Brasil, pero yo quería mostrar un poco de las tradiciones de mi país,  este es uno de varios bocetos al que le di color para ir actualizando mi blog.

“The caporales", is a typical dance of Bolivia, they dance all year round especially in carnival parade which is an important festival in many countries, , where you can see an explosion of colors and awesome creativity, one of the most famous is the carnival of Brazil, but I wanted to show some of the traditions of my country, this is one of several sketches that gave color to update my blog.

Feliz o enojado :Inspirado en esta frase que leí: si tú no puedes elegir el trabajo que haces o las circunstancias en que a veces te encuentras, tú si puedes elegir el estado de ánimo con que hacerlo o afrontarlo.  Tú eliges feliz o enojado. Obviamente también Inspirado en Madagascar 2. :)

Happy or angry: Inspired by this phrase that I read: if you can not choose the job you do, you can choose the mood to do it. You choose happy or angry. Obviously also inspired in Madagascar 2. :)

Fanart: Este dibujo es creación del famoso comediante Mejicano Roberto Gómez Bolaños “chespirito”, que salió en su serie de televisión “El Chapulín Colorado”, cada vez que lo veo me parece genial y divertido, por ese motivo decidí compartirlo con ustedes, solo me queda agradecer a este gran artista por entretenernos y divertirnos por varias generaciones con sus ocurrencias.

A este dibujo le agregue algunos movimientos más, por sugerencia y comentarios de amigos. Me recuerda a una frase que dice: “No todo lo que se hace es completamente inútil, al menos sirve como mal ejemplo”, o como un buen ejemplo de lo que no se debe hacer. :)

To this drawing I added some more movements, because of suggestions and comments from friends. It reminds me to a phrase that says:"Not everything you do is completely useless, at least is useful as a bad example", or as a good example of what not to do.:)

Este dibujo esta  dedicado a todas aquellas personas, que cuando  estaban aburridos en el salón de clases, se ponían a dibujar algún flipbook , igual que yo. :)   Esta vez, yo quería que sea simple con dos imágenes, sin anticipación y sin acción continuada o acción superpuesta.

This drawing is dedicated to all those people, that when they were bored in the classroom, drew a flipbook, just like me. :) This time, I wanted to keep it simple with two images, without anticipation and without Follow Through and Overlapping Action.

Algo que he visto en la ilustración digital, es hacer que parezca arte tradicional, ensuciándolo un poco, agregando texturas o hecho con pinceles, definitivamente es más atractivo un dibujo que no luzca muy limpio o con un fondo muy simétrico,   por ese motivo decidí ensuciar el fondo y aplicar algunos efectos, para tratar de mejorarlo.  °-°

 Something I've seen in digital illustration, is make it look like traditional art, give a bit of dirt, adding textures or done with brushes, is definitely more attractive a drawing that does not look very clean or with a very symmetric background, that is why I decided to give a bit of dirt to the background and apply some effects to try to improve it.
